Yá'át'ééh Hello

My name is Shawna Woody. I am a member of the Navajo Nation Tribe and my traditional clans are: Red Running into Water, Honey Combed People, Bitterwater, and the Coyote Pass People.

I have earned a Bachelors degree in biology from Fort Lewis College in 2020. I am currently, participating in a Research Assistance Mentoring Program for post baccalaureate at Northern Arizona University. Eagerly waiting to enter the master program at Northern Arizona University in the Environmental Science and Policy program for the 2024 fall semester.

I enjoy the going to the cinema and exploring the outdoors. I have an interested in ecology, restoration, agriculture, community, botany, and much more. Trying to reconnect back to my traditions with hopes of returning back to Ramah, NM in the future!
